We enjoyed my first tomato this weekend - one of the romas. It had fallen off the plant and was green and hard at that point, so I put it in the windowsill and it gradually ripened. When we ate it, it was warm and tender. Didn't taste much different than store-bought tomatoes, but it was still a neat experience.
I can't wait until the other types ripen.
